Hello all! I was just wondering if anyone might be able to help me out to ID this bird. I took these pictures last July Up near muncho lake BC. I thought it could be a yellow rumped warbler, because of the face pattern, but it is missing the yellow rump. Sadly i dont have a front view of the bird since he didnt stick around too long.

You are correct - it is a 'Myrtle' Yellow-rumped Warbler. The rump is not visible because the wings are concealing it.

Awesome! Thanks Jeremy!
I saw him so long ago that all the details i might have noticed at the time were lost. And couldnt for the life of me figure out what he was last night when i rediscovered the pictures.
