Please help me ID this duck. It was in the pond on the Courtenay Air Park on November 23, 2017. Thanks in advance.

My good friend David Sibley says this about females in winter -
"From about November to May nearly all females can be identified by bill color: on Common the bill is blackish with a small subterminal pale yellow patch; on Barrow’s the bill is mostly bright orange-yellow."
So from the pic one would assume its a Common Goldeneye.
