Juvenile white-crowned or golden-crowned sparrow?

I’m going with White-crowned but because the top of the head is not visible it’s hard to tell. Your bird does have 2 white wing bars and White-crowns are more common than Golden-crowns in winter.
I’m no expert though but thought I’d try a guess.

It looks like a Golden-Crown to me from the little tint of gold on the forehead and the patterns on the back. I've seen a whole ton of em this winter and they seem to mostly be juvies. GCSP also seem to have a more robust build with a gray area surrounding the face.

Thank you both. Actually, I have had a few golden-crowned sparrows visiting my feeders over the past couple of weeks. As you say, it's difficult to know for certain. I will just call is a sparrow.

Don't forget that White-crowned Sparrows have all Yellow bills vs the Grey/Black upper manbdible on the Golden-crowned as seen in the pic!
