Behind my house today, there was a very loud but hidden bird in the bushes, and I am trying to figure out what it was. It sounded similar to a yellowthroat, but not quite as rhythmic.

Can anyone help?

Sort of sounds like a Purple Finch. This would be my initial guess however could be something else.
