Taken at Iona, at the nesting boxes near the river on Saturday, May 12.

Is this a female or juvenile Purple Martin? It was much bigger than the tree swallow but similar colours. Maybe a bit more buff than white. There is a tree sparrow in the last pic on the bottom and it's much smaller.
