Northern Thompson-Rayleigh- We have only glimpsed a brownish Owl flutter up into our large Spruce Tree when startled at night. We hear it mornings and evenings, a calm "Dooooo...Doo,Dooo' about every 10 seconds. Would love to know what it is?

It could have been a Great Horned Owl. Not enough information to be positive though.

Your best bet would be to go to allaboutbirds.org and match the call to what you heard. It's probably a Great Horned or a Barred owl.
