In only 5 weeks OWL (Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society) will be hosting it's annual Open House in Delta (3800 72nd Street). The event takes place on May 5th and 6th, from 10 am to 3 pm both days. This is the only time that approximately 70% of the facility is open for public viewing. There will be lots to see and do including Raptor meet and greets, other wildlife and environmental groups displaying their important work, a raffle fundraiser, food, food and more food, and lots more! The highlight of each day will be the release of a rehabilitated raptor at 1 pm.
More information is available here: https://www.owlrehab.org/owl-open-house-2018/

As we get closer there will be updates on the OWL Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pg/OWLRehab/po ... e_internal

Entry is by donation; wheelchair accessible with onsite handicap parking; free shuttle bus service from 80th and Churchill; kid friendly; please leave your pets at home.

Come out and support your local raptor rehabilitator - we get no government funding and this is our biggest fundraiser of the year. I hope to see you there!

Just a friendly reminder that the Open House is this weekend - Saturday May 5th and Sunday May 6th from 10am to 3 pm both days. The weather looks very good (I hope I didn’t jinx it by saying that :P ) but the event will take place no matter what’s going on in the sky.
There will be lots to see and do for all ages so please come out and show your support.
Thank you.
