Thanks for looking everyone, happy to say it's been sold :D :D

Hey all, yes, it's true, I have decided to sell my digiscoping setup as it is just sitting on a shelf unused.
This is a great opportunity to get setup with everything you need included (with the exception of tripod legs).
I digiscoped for about two years total, using first a 60mm Fieldscope III ED / Coolpix P4 and later the ED82 scope I am now selling.

The package includes:
Nikon ED82 Fieldscope (Straight).
one or two minor scratches on the body and the sliding lens shade has a scuff mark.
The glass is flawless.
Scope comes with full body cover, all lens caps etc.

Two eyepieces are included - 30X W DS and 50X W DS.

Manfrotto quick release is included as is a used 488RC2 ball-head.

Nikon Coolpix P5100 camera (EXPEED image processor, 12.1 megapixel sensor, 3.5x Zoom-NIKKOR optically-stabilized with VR).
the camera comes with a custom viewfinder shade, and most importantly, a Nikon FSB-6 digiscoping bracket.
This bracket comes with a cable shutter release and is specially made to fit the P5100.
I will leave all my camera settings untouched.

4 Nikon EN-El5 lithium ion batteries.

All cables and chargers included.

A 2gig SD card will also be thrown in.

Nikon Photo transfer software on cd included.

I'm also throwing in my digiscoping "bits & parts" bag, full of parts, some broken and some as new.

$950 (recession price)

Well! I dare everyone to pick the single best of the four bird shots.
My preference is the Marsh Wren, because they are not all that common and also, since they are always busy building many new homes each spring, are all too busy to pose very long for intruders, like photographers. So that's my pick. What's yours?

Cheers.

price reduced, $950 new offer.
(for nearly $2000 worth of gear, none of it more than 1 1/2 years old).

birders, tell your friends :)
