Nature Vancouver will be running a members' tour to eastern and central Nebraska March 20-25.

Highlights should include hundreds of thousands of Sandhill Cranes, a couple of million waterfowl, and displaying Greater Prairie-Chickens and Sharp-tailed Grouse.

We'll begin and end with birding in eastern Nebraska, where we can hope for American Woodcock, Red-headed and Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Tufted Titmouse, Harris's Sparrow, and a whole suite of prairie and deciduous forest species.

Details to appear soon on the Nature Vancouver website and in the forthcoming newsletter. I plan to be at the NatVan "Birders' Night" in December, too, to say a few words about the tour.
