Late afternoon is not prime time for bird watching, but often it's the only time I manage to get outdoors. It was a glorious sunny afternoon, today, and I would say that 90% of the birds I saw and heard were of this screeching species. Perhaps they are useful for eating insects that damage lawnsand plants. I am yet to find a reason to like these dirty and agressive birds. What do other birders think?
