Today, December 6th, I have seen one song sparrow, one white-crowned sparrow, a downy woodpecker, several dark-eyed juncos and the usual six chickadees at my feeders. I find that the seed cakes are liked by all species and there isn't the waste that often comes with rain and snow falling on the seed trays full of loose seeds. All species mentioned seem to enjoy oily sunflower seeds the most, although the cakes and seeds are a mixture of various types of seed. If any photos turn out well, I will upload them in the photo section later.

I’m confused. How many years ago was this?

Yup, Stilt Sandpiper.

GHO from this morning.

Lovely shots, Keith.
