Hope you all are having a good winter!

This is my list of birds spotted in Kamloops so far January 2011:

-American Robin
-Northern Flicker
-Hairy woodpecker
-Steller's Jay
-Starling
-Great Blue Heron
-Red Tailed Hawk
-Canadian Goose
-Mallards
-Black Capped Chickadee
-House Finch
-House Sparrow
-Magpie
-Crow

I saw the owl in Rose Hill, unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me, but Peter Sulzle has a picture of the snowy in his blog! take a look

The Snowy Owl at Rose Hill in Kamloops was first reported and photographed on Jan. 9, 2011. Looks like ít has been hanging around. Nice bird to have on your list.
