I need help finding a feeder for small birds only. I do have a nice number of small birds, however there are also many large birds (Magpies, Ravens, Crows, Mourning Doves, Quail and Mallard ducks) who love to come and shake up our feeders and knock the seeds out to the ground/lawn. Then the ducks and quail have a great time tearing up our lawn. Any suggestions of feeders would be greatly appreciated. I live in Kelowna and would purchase here or order online - what ever it takes. This is all fairly new to me.

Birding in the Okanagan is fun and a challenge. Many years living along Kootenay Lake brought a variety of birds that differ from the Kelowna Mission Flats. I now have more time for this pleasure, looking for ways of attracting them to our gardens.

I have one of these "Audubon 15" Squirrel proof" ones. I bought mine at the local Co-op and it's the only one that keeps the bigger birds away from the seed.
