Hi,
I have had a pair of flycatchers nesting on our porch. I am very unsure, as I could swear from listening to bird calls and looking at numerous books and photos online that the birds are yellow-bellied flycatchers, but from what I can see they don't tend to come this far south and west. I looked closely at the dusky flycatcher, but these have very distinctive yellow bellies. Any ideas? I have somewhat decent photos of one of the parents, and really great photos of the 3 babies just before fledging, but I'm not sure how to go about posting them. Here are links to some of the photos I posted on facebook.
