Hi folks,

Saw a Cassin's Vireo this morning in trees east and below the restaurant at the top of QE. We were on the trail below/beside the outdoor restrooms on the east side of the building.

Here are a couple of photos:

The bird wasn't singing - just feeding. There were Hutton's Vireos in several spots singing - but no amount of neck craning yielded a view. A Black-capped Chickadee was excavating a nest - going in, coming out, flying to a nearby cedar to spit out the wood chips. A Cooper's nest looks as if it's nearing completion. Lots going on up there!
