Hi there. Just after 3pm today, I was at troutlake (despite the horrible weather) and spotted a Peregrine Falcon very high up in a tree by the lake. This is a new record for me personally, I've never seen one there before. Unfortunately due to the terrible light and the fact it was so high up, I had to bump my ISO and hope for the best. It was basically a silhouette when I was looking at it. I got a few record shots only.

Congrats on the lifer!
Always good to see these birds, trout lake gets some interesting birds for an urban area.

Thanks a lot! I was delighted to see it, even though it was initially so dark I wasn't immediately sure it was even a Peregrine, I'm so used to seeing Cooper's in that Area. There were a lot of crows in the same tree but it wasn't for moving. : ) I was even surprised to see a Swan on Troutlake the other day, in the 7 or 8 years I've been going there, never have I seen a Single Swan on that lake!
