Headed up out of the fog early Saturday morning and checked out Burnaby Mountain.
Was surprised by the amount of drones humming in the sky, i guess everyone was there for foggy cityscape shots.
Pine grosbeaks were not in the trees when i arrived just after 8am but did make an appearance a bit later and i was able to get some shots.
Would not consider the looks i got "keeper" shots but good enough to document the activity.
Thankful for better looks had a few years ago.
Early morning you will find the trees very dark and shady at Bby mtn, same goes for the birds

I heard there was a bit of commotion about a reported Summer Tanager in Vancouver but i didn't bother, got it in Texas years ago, no need to twitch thankfully, i don't feel the need to see every species again every year if i got it already.
Falcon ID (Burnaby)

You are right on in your identification.
