Hi Birders and Banders,

I’ve just uploaded the May blog with all the activity from a very busy month of banding at Colony Farm.

With lots of information on molt and ageing of American Goldfinch, MacGillivray’s, Orange-crowned and Wilson’s Warblers, photos from our first Hummingbird monitoring session of the season, the May Banding Workshop and must see photos from our new ‘Birds are Brilliant’ schools program, our first confusing Empid of the season, Western Tanager, Black-headed Grosbeak, Tree Swallow, a ‘senior’ retrapped Swainson’s Thrush and our first ever banded Yellow-headed Blackbird please click here:
