This Summer I will be going on a short birding trip to the Okanagan Valley. Below is a list of locations I am looking at going to. If you think there are some places that are in Kelowna or south of Kelowna that you think should be added to this list please let me know.

Here is my main Question: if you could go to 10 of these locations, which would they be?

Manning Park
Richter Pass, Kilpoola Lake, Kilpoola West
Chopaka
Mount Kobau
Road 22
Ecological Reserve 100, Throne
Camp Mckinney Road
Vaseux Lake board walk and cliffs
Venner Meadows and Access Road
White Lake area (Green Lake Road to White Lake Road and White Lake)
Green Mountain Road
Max Lake and surroundings
Powers Creek and that area of Okanagan Lake
Munson Pond
Chichester Wetland Park
Robert Lake
Glenmore Landfill
Beaver Lake Road
Sawmill Lake
River Road, Hack's Pond
Okanagan Falls Provincial Park
Kettle Valley RR Trestle and KVR Trail
Chute Lake Road
Summerland Ornamental Gardens
Shannon Lake Regional Park
Kalmoir Regional Park
Rose Valley Regional Park
Bear Creek Regional Park
Sutherland Bay and Park
Maude-Roxby Bird Sanctuarry
Lakeshore Drive and Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park
Sutherland Hills and Mission Creek
McCullock Road to McCulloch Lake

Thanks for the help!

Hello Birder .... On your way to the Okanagan I recommend a stop at Beaver Pond in Manning Park ... it can be great for various warblers.

Try Haynes Point in Osoyoos ..it can be crowded in summer though

White Lake area is cool

Road 22 ... It can be hit or miss but if you're lucky ....

Good Luck

Liron: You have posted a plethora of great birding locations in the Okanagan. All can be great or dead depending on the day. Better to contact someone just before you go to find out what locations are holding particular birds that you may be interested in; maybe include a target list. Cheers, Thor
