Next weekend I'm leading workshops about Birding by Ear, as part of my job with Metro Vancouver Regional Parks. Saturday the 28th at Burnaby Lake and Sunday the 29th at Campbell Valley. 7-9am
Call 604-432-6359 to register. $8/adult, $4.25 for youth or seniors.

The workshops are intended for novices (not for you Breeding Bird Atlas types, you probably know more about bird songs and calsl than I do, but we all have to start somewhere.) We'll be focusing on a few common songs, before the bulk of the migrants arrive and the birdsong gets too overwhelming.

For a taste of what I'll cover here's a link to a video:

I'll try not to be that cheesy on the weekend.
