I saw a Rusty Blackbird in Bellingham!

It was last found about a week or so ago at the parking lot of a Fred meyer!

We tried for it in the morning but no luck. We tried again at noon and I found it in a row of 8 Brewer's Blackbirds on the roof of the Fred Meyer! But it flew away before I could get a good shot. We saw it fly towards the Costco across the street, so we followed it there. After 45 minutes of searching the parking lot I found it underneath a car at the far corner of the parking lot. It was so very tame!! It came within feet of me and stayed for 2 hours, and was still there when we left!

Here were some photos I was able to get:

Best shots I've seen of a Rusty Blackbird, the first one is wonderful, so nice of him to leave the pavement and pose beside the grasses for you.
