Got out early this morning and found these Tree Swallows preening in the morning sun. As I was filming my last segment a Cliff Swallow flew in and joined the action. Cliff Swallows are unusual in Squamish and are only seen once every few years and usually out flying in there marsh. I couldn't believe it when one actually landed on the tree I was filming. Unfortunately a pile driver was working in the background which spoiled the quiet morning.
Cheers,
Chris Dale Squamish
