Starting to get used to my new Nikon gear and the weather cooperated for a couple of days. The Owlet had fallen out of his nest when I took these photos, he landed on the branch below the nest and mom sat with it all day. The only time she left the little one was to get a rat out of the nest and she fed him right on the branch. I checked on them the next morning and the little one was back in it's nest.
