I noticed on ebird that a marbled godwit had been spotted at one of my local birding spots,Oyster Bay Park just south of Campbell River.When i arrived this morning the tide was high and the mudflats hidden. I thought i would just take in the scene for awhile.Half an hour later the tide had receded a few feet and i see a bird flying across the bay that looks different.This fellow landed right in front of me,a lifer.untitled (39 of 67) by Garry Graham, on Flickruntitled (34 of 67) by Garry Graham, on Flickr
