A Few Interesting Visitors on the Feeder

We had some interesting visitors on the feeder yesterday. While watching a pair of "Slate-colored" Dark-eyed Juncos, a male House Finch showed up (which we have not seen on the feeder in years). Then, a few minutes later, a Mountain Chickadee!

A Red maple tree with a very short but amazing colour display, made for a nice backdrop.

The backyard feeder is located near the intersection of 208th Street and 45A Avenue in Langley.

Congrats on the Mountain Chickadee. I too have a Japanese Maple as a backdrop to my feeders. It provides phot ops 12 months of the year!
