It's been a tough slog at work lately, been starting work at 5am and working till 4pm every day, at first it was alright but i realize now that by the end of the week (my prime shooting time) i'm dead tired.
Anyways, i did get out the last little while a bit for what it's worth.

A couple of Fridays ago i headed to Lonsdale Quay and shot the Brandt's Cormorant, was surprised to see a couple of photogs i know there already.
Pitt Lake on Saturday was a bit of a bust as i alluded to earlier in another post, even this Rufous shot was less than satisfactory, i played the waiting game with this guy and didn't quite nail my one chance.

Iona yielded not much quality-wise either, (had a Northern Shrike right fricking behind me close at one point but it never flew in front of where i was setup) nice to see the Violet-greens back, had a Northern Rough-winged on the wire next to this guy at one point too.

Friday afternoon at Maplewood was alright as i got my first Greater Yellowlegs of the year.
Sunday morning at Maplewood was a bit of a bust as well but it was nice to be outdoors and not in front of my computer at work so i'll take anything i get, including the gimme Black-capped Chickadee.

Thanks fer looking and all that.
