I know only one place to photograph Bald Eagles on the Coast, and.... hmmm... this is not the most sophisticated birding place for sure (beside the Sechelt`s dumpsite..)
juvenile Bald Eagle - Sechelt, BC
Usually I do not have luck with shorbirds, but sometimes they are in good mood and do not scare of their own shadow...
Black Turnstone - Davis Bay
Black Oytercatcher - Roberts Creek
This 2 guys was a real rarity in Gibsons
the first one was swimming with Mallards..
Ring-necked Duck - Gibsons
the second one was looking for food at the edge of a small forest
Red-breasted Sapsucker - Gibsons
And my best friend - that always presents in the Gibsons` Marina this female Belted Kinfisher
Thanks for looking.
