Looks pretty good for a $1200.00 camera.Not quite the replacement for the D300s but close.24 mp no low pass filter 6 fps but a low buffer could hurt BIF shots.Also a 1.3 crop inside a 1.7 crop option making it a 2x crop at almost 16 mp.Interesting.I am being told though that all camera crops is the same quality as if cropped it in photoshop.Any thoughts?Thanks Ted

Ted, looks like a good camera but I'm going to wait for the D400 or whatever replaces the D300S I have. I have the D4 so I can wait. The only thing I can see is that it have no AF ON button on the back, which I use on my cameras.
You are right, makes no difference if the crop is in the camera or post processing.
