here is a Big woodpecker of some sort sorry for the bad pic even with my 500mm was far away.. I found him by what I would say he was wailing is the best way to describe it. There were 2 of them.

I think this one is a snipe but what kind?? I also there were about 20 of them hidden in different parts of the swamp.... Light was very poor for this shot.

The woodpecker is a Red-breasted Sapsucker and the Snipe is most likely a Wilson's Snipe.

The first bird is a Red-breasted Sapsucker, I have taken several shots myself at Colony farm. The second bird, I am not 100% sure, but I think it is a Wilson Snipe.

thank you..... Wilson's is a first for me....
in this very small Vancouver swamp surrounded by big buildings I have photographed Green Heron, 2 Kingfishers, spotted sand pipers, Killdeer, Wilson's snipe (thanks for the Id's), Red-tail Hawk, Coopers Hawk a family of very big Ravens, a few eagles, breeding Northern Flickers, downy woodpeckers, countless small birds.. This place is a block long and maybe 30 feet wide at its deepest.. I have also photographed a couple of the biggest Garter snakes I have seen in years as well as huge tadpoles I am guessing bullfrogs.. A very
productive little place when I can not get to the more common birding spots....
Thanks Terrance...........

Pm me and I will let you know.. I have photographed there most of this year. The most recent birds have been the Wilson's snipes from what I have been told a lot for such a small area and the raptors as well as 2 very shy kingfishers the seem to fight a lot between them....
