Fun with the Hoodies

I spent a couple of hours at the marsh this afternoon watching the Hooded Merganzers. It took awhile for them to come close enough for some photos but it was fun watching them. I think the males are starting to think it is getting close to breeding season, they seemed to be doing lots of showing off for the females. They were also doing lots of fishing and the fish seemed to be very plentiful.

Mr. and Mrs Merganzer, I don't know what he has in mind.

The fishing was really good today.

What kind of post is this supposed to be Mickhel. It makes no sense to me why someone would dig up a post that is almost a year old to make that kind of comment. For a first post you make yourself look a little ridiculous. For your info I have no idea who Trayvon is!!!

yeh, it's a strange post alright...
Trayvon was the teenager killed by an over-enthusiastic Neighborhood watch dude while wearing a "hoodie" in a gated community a while back.

If that is what he is referring to it is in pretty poor taste and we don't need that kind of individual making tasteless remarks on this site.
