Birding group in Greater Vancouver area?

Hi all,
I've recently been getting back into birding. I have bird feeders located outside the the window I practice, because birds inspire me. I'm wondering if there is a bird club? Or a group that goes regularly out for bird watching? Are there any forums for bird feeding? Thanks. I've been trying to find a group through Vancouvermeetup.com etc, but no luck. A group that meets in the mornings would be great!

Nature vancouver has a birding section:

and they also have a list of ongoing walks and field trips put on by others:http://naturevancouver.ca/ongoing_nature_walks.

The Delta naturalists have a blog about their casual birding outings (that aren't restricted to Delta) http://dncb.wordpress.com/

Starting a meet-up wouldn't be a bad idea either. You may find some people want something more casual than joining a nauralist club.

I don't have a credit card, so I can't start one but I would definitely join a meetup group for birders.

Check out the "LINKS" choice on the menu bar. It will give you links to all the Naturalist Clubs in the province. The Nature Vancouver club has a bird oriented section aptly called the "Birding Section".

I've done several bird walks in the past and I'm doing another on Friday March 30th. It might be what you are looking for. No cost, nothing formal just a meet up for people wanting to get together and bird. My next bird walk is going to be a bird walk for beginners as I've had a lot of people interested lately and asking me about "birding" so it will be a slow paced walk.

I post my bird walks on my website and try to do one or two a month.
