I have been watching the Anna's Hummingbirds nest for just over a week and I can't believe how fast the chick is growing. I was also surprised at how long the mother leaves her chick in the nest to hunt for food for it. I watched the chick alone in its nest for about 25 minutes before the mother returned to feed the little one. What an amazing experience it has been watching the mother and chick.
