This Steller's Jay was taken in October east of Manning Park in the Pasayten Valley. The altitude is just under 4000 feet where it is lovely to see swooping through the lodgepole pine forest with the Whiskey Jacks and hopping across the Whiskey Jack or Canada Jay at Pasayten Valley, BC.

Great series Susan, the Jays were very scarce in our area this year. They make such a great subject to photograph.
