A quick smattering of pictures from camping this past weekend in Manning Park. We actually got to WATCH ice-off. There was only about a 10 foot stretch of visible water when we got there, and by the time we left most of lone duck bay was ice free. Three new birds for me this weekend

Townsend's Warbler (not a GREAT shot, but as a first - I was pretty happy)
Red-breaste Sapsucker
Barrow's Goldeneye

1) Clark's Nutcracker

2) Townsend's Warbler

3) Female Barrow's Goldeneye

4) Male Barrow's Goldeneye

5) Gray Jay

6) Red-breasted Sapsucker

I hope you enjoy them!

Thank you both.

I also have a darker one of what I figure might be the female or a juvie that needs a bit more PS love before it hits the 'Net.
