Since they are back here's a head-on look of a Ruby-crowned Kinglet, or should I say a head-on body!

And from Pt. Roberts, a pair of curious Ancient Murrelets caught staring at me some distance from the shore. The distinctive feature of these birds in the pale colour at the front of their bills.

At this time, the birds were more interested in shaking following Bonaparte's Gulls than worrying about activity on shore.

Still more. From Oliver during June.

First, a friendly chatty House Wren.

And a chatty, Yellow-breasted Chat.

Fun! I'll play - I've probably posted this one before a long time ago. Birds can certainly look quite comedic from this perspective.

And I had this outrageous shot recently. Actually a harder angle to work than I imagined!
