Birding in BC Community

The pileated woodpeckers call in each day. If there is no food they wait for me to go out with some. As I move from one log, one will come over, when I put food in another log, the other one comes in.

You are a lucky man - I could watch those guys all day long!

That would be very enjoyable. I have a downy woodpecker that feeds from my compressed seed cakes quite regularly.

I feed a lot of birds and have quite a few eat out of my hand. Not great shots but one handed.
