Some birds from East Africa

Hi all, other than comments I haven't posted here in awhile. I really wasn't photographing much this past year due to personal circumstances & general ennui. I spent the month of February in East Africa on safari in Tanzania & Kenya, then a couple of gorilla treks in Rwanda. It was exactly what I needed to decompress and think of nothing but the incredible wildlife around me ... so much wildlife in fact that after the first 2 days my arm muscles were killing me from constantly holding my camera up! Even though they're not BC birds, I thought I'd share a few of the standouts with you that I've processed so far - more still to come. Hope you enjoy them!

Hi Cheryl, thank you! Its a banana tree, the bird is so small I felt in order to see it well I kind of ignored the plant & zoomed in on the bird. The bird is actually on the bud, no bananas yet!
