You are probably thinking of the Marine Sanctuary of which there are several in the area. No Bird Sanctuaries that I know of!

Hi perhaps you mean Sechelt Marsh? This is a nice bird sanctuary there

Sergeants Bay has a small marsh area as well as the bay itself.Access is from Redroofs Rd.
It's been a while since I've been there but I remember it as a birdy little spot.
