The bird was a= ctively feeding and was somewhat hard to see amongst a large flock of mixed= diving ducks.=20 =20 In Westbank, a GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was seen with CANADA GEESE along= Gellatley Rd in the fields across from the Yacht Club on Mar 20 (GW).=20 =20 Robert Lake continues to be a hotspot for waterforlw. A male EURASIAN WIGEO= N was again seen on March 24 amongst over a dozen species of assorted ducks= (CC).=20 =20 An adult MEW GULL was at the Kelowna Yacht Club on Saturday, March 22 (CC,R= T). =20 On March 23, a LONG-BILLED CURLEW was seen over Kilpoola Lake in the South = Okanagan (DB). =20 The boreal forests E. of Lake Country along Beaver and Dee Lake roads were = quite good for birds on March 22. Up to three AMERICAN THREE-TOED WOODPECKE= RS were found along Dee Lake Road as was a calling WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL (= CC,RT). A CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICKADEE was a nice surprise as well (CC,RT). Ov= er the grasslands on Beaver Lake Road a flock of 60 SNOW BUNTINGS passed by= on Mar 22 (CC,RT). =20 Along the railroad tracks N. from Scandia Golf and Games in Kelowna, the lo= ng-staying BEWICK'S WREN was again seen on March 22 (CC,RT). =20 The continuing WHITE-THROATED SPARROW on Dunsmuir Rd was seen well on March= 22. Dunsmuir Rd is off Hall Road in SE. Kelowna. Sightings for Mar 24
