These two sandpipers were at Robert Lake on the 9th Aug (only just got around to looking at them). They have yellow legs and their size (compared to the yellowlegs in the background) puts them around 8 or 9 inches. So pectoral or stilt. The bill appears too long and thin for a pectoral and no apparent downward curve for a stilt! There is also a lot of white under the bill. I'm hoping for a stilt as he would be a lifer! Maybe a dowitcher?
