Hello everyone. I went to Blackie Spit today (13 March) this morning at around 10:00 A.M. and I saw a couple gulls. I'm pretty bad with gulls, but I think this is a Glaucous-Winged Gull because of the grey-ish wingtips and the pink legs. Attached is a picture.

I had a quick look and think this is a 2nd winter Glaucous-winged gull. Not totally sure and I will consult gull references tomorrow (time permitting) to see if I can improve the id. Gulls are difficult, juvenile gulls even more so.

I am revising my ID. I think this is a 3rd year winter glaucous-winged gull. The primaries look a bit dark so possible it has some Glaucous-winged x Western hybrid in it, also known as Olympic Gulls.
