I got to spend Father's Day at Reifel yesterday, which was a nice treat. A fair number of birds about, including this one that defeated my identification attempts. The best I could come up with was possibly a Vireo, leaning towards Warbling, but am not at all certain. The heavier bill and head shape seem to agree, though?

Possibly an immature bird? There is a bit of a white eye stripe, but it's not that strong...

Thanks in advance!

Well I’m afraid you have fallen for the same ID conundrum that I think every birder experiences, including me.
This is an immature European Starling - the long pointy beak is the main clue.
Welcome to the “I thought it was an uncommon bird but it’s only a Starling” club!
