I flimed this bird at Buttertubs Marsh Nanaimo, Sep 15. I think it is a female American Widgeon based on beak colour, head colour, rufous brown breast and sides and dark primaries outlined in white. It was the only one I saw, which is unusual for a widgeon. I also have a video if the photo is not enough. Thanks in advance.
