Saw a pair of Bald Eagles mating yesterday (Jan 30), and observed one eagle attending a nest. Isn't this very early? I thought mid-February was more likely.

It's been a warm winter so far, and Bald Eagles are busy building nests and it quite common to see mating during the nest building period!

The Bald Eagles will continue to mate, till they lay eggs in the last week of February and goes through March!
