Bald Eagle mating early?#90184 By blomley - Jan 31 11:25 am - Jan 31 11:25 am #90184 Saw a pair of Bald Eagles mating yesterday (Jan 30), and observed one eagle attending a nest. Isn't this very early? I thought mid-February was more likely.
Re: Bald Eagle mating early?#90185 By northvanrob - Jan 31 1:00 pm - Jan 31 1:00 pm #90185 It's been a warm winter so far, and Bald Eagles are busy building nests and it quite common to see mating during the nest building period! The Bald Eagles will continue to mate, till they lay eggs in the last week of February and goes through March!
