I took advantage of the brief pause in the rain to run out to the Squamish River Spit this afternoon to see what was around. In one scan with the scope over about 100 metres in the East Field #1 there were 53 Mountain Bluebirds flitting in the grasslands along with lots of Yellow-rumped Warblers. I think that is the most I have seen at one time in such a small area.

I live in Squamish. Tried to watch your video, but sadly it did not work. Have never seen mountain bluebirds, and hope I am fortunate enough to see them at some point.
