Oh wow! That's a great pic of the Cooper's Hawk. The Sharpie and Harrier are nice too.
Here are a couple that I forgot to post from New Year's Day -

If someone gets the male please post it - they are so different looking (as with many birds).

Zach - it may just be me but I notice that some of your pictures are not showing up when I'm on my desktop (the falcons, dipper & Barrow's); on the iPad they are just fine.

Hi Judy, Zach

The issue is that some of links to Zach's photos are insecure links (http://) and this site used secure links (https://). Depending on your browser security settings, it may or may not show what is called "mixed" (secure and insecure) content.

Zach: Are you able to use secure links (https://)? Your site may need a security cert and often you get these for free now with the hosting package.

Yeah it’s on the to-do list but I need to switch to a better host first.

You can allow insecure content in the site settings or just click the links instead. I might just make an imgur account in the meantime.

I went out to Brydon Lagoon in Langley again today and got a few to add to the list.

On the way home I stopped at the pond in the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. This duck has been there for quite a while now and she may even be the same one who over-wintered last year. I wish she'd get herself a boyfriend, not only because of my obsession with getting both sexes in the same shot, but also because male Redhead ducks are so striking looking.

Nice work as always Judy! Loving the shots from our new posters as well!

Got an account set up on imgur to use till I work out the SSL thingie.

I saw this Ruddy Turnstone yesterday:

Thrilled to finally get a picture of this bird that wasn't 200m away!

Wow, everyone! Really clipping along. Judy -- that Bewick's Wren photo ... love it.
Robert -- welcome love the hawk ...
John -- your photos! Love the stylization on them.
Thanks the two of you for joining in the fun.

I left the Great Blue Heron off the list until we can solve Phainopepla6's photo problem ...
As usual, Zach ... very nice work ... those Turnstones are lovely birds.

We are at 81 birds now ... I'll update the list --link: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=16619&p=90096#p90096.

Oh man, I can’t even find 1 Red Crossbill! I’ve been looking for them at Elgin Park in Surrey where they have been reported, but so far, no luck. Congratulations Berdesdan.

I found a very reliable spot for them last summer around the Library PARC building at UBC (park at the SW Marine Drive viewpoint). I’m not sure if they’re still coming to that spot, but I’ve been meaning to take a look again soon.

Thanks Zach I’ll keep it in mind. On a similar note I went out to Maple Ridge this morning looking for the Gyrfalcon, Prairie Falcon and American Dipper - a trifecta of no shows! I’m not paranoid but I’d sure like to know how everyone else manages to find these birds - obviously someone is alerting them. :?
