Snow Bunting

New to this lark. A pal of mine who is a birding guide based in Peru (Gunnar Engblom) suggested I try a Nikon Coolpix P900 as a first birding camera. As I know zip about cameras and less than half that about how to aim them at anything, I took his advice. These were literally the first two shots...well, ok, after a few practice Mallard... taken two weeks ago in Nelson BC.

Looks like the camera works. Now it's just me that needs sorting out. Watch out, Glenn Bartley.

Nice shots of the Snow Bunting!

Was this taken in Lake Side Park?

Good Luck with your new camera!

Thanks Rob. Close-ish to the park, more to the west of that along the path locally known as the dog-walk. Runs by the airstrip. Good for birding. Pity about the dogs.
