For the winter season I thought I'd throw another series of challenges out there. This is for your favorite BC Bird whose name begins with an "A." No year restriction, no number restriction … simply post a photo and why they are your choice--you love the bird, you love the photo, or both. I'll start with the "American Coot."



To me this is a very common bird often given short attention … but upon closer inspection, you see that it has amazing colors … plus … look at those cool webbed feet! Check it out!
