Yesterday, at the GBHR, we spotted a Wilson’s (Common?) Snipe. It was located in the first pond (east of the Vedder parking lot as you head back to the Interpretive Center) on the dyke of Vedder Rotary Trail - West Loop.

The bird was in the grass, on the shoreline, facing the dyke. No obstructions and close enough for good looks with binoculars or long lens.
